Requirements
- Previous line management experience leading, coaching, mentoring, and developing teams in an agile organization
- Proven knowledge and experience of building and managing cloud platforms
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with which you build and maintain strong cross-functional partnerships and relationships at all levels of the organization
- Experience identifying and acquiring talent needs, resource planning and talent allocation across large organizations
- Experience in advocating for adoption of tools and standards that benefit the growth of the platform area
- Hands-on experience making data-driven decisions, creating data visualizations, and presenting the data to senior leaders
Responsibilities
- Directly manage a team of engineers who work with the Observability Platforms
- Collaborate with other leaders to drive adoption of engineering standards
- Influence strategic decisions and build high-quality data streaming platforms
- Drive change across platforms, advocating for the right outcomes for customers
- Actively share insights, knowledge, industry practices and developments across the organization
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with observability platforms and best practices (Datadog, Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry)
- Foundational understanding of Kubernetes (EKS / AKS)
- Aptitude towards engineering excellence in the measurement, execution, and maintenance of core engineering standards
