Requirements
- A strategic, data-driven approach to marketing and business partnership
- 10+ years of experience in channel marketing, preferably with both vendor-side and distributor-side global experience in the technology industry
- Proven record of driving channel marketing programs and activities that deliver measurable and meaningful business results
- Experience with all facets of partner marketing, including partner communications and education, partner enablement toolkits, co-marketing programs, and management and tracking on an individual partner basis
- Ability to work within budgets and with strict deadline requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Strong analytical and project management skills
- Ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment
- Ability to present clear and concise information to team, internal customers, and external customers
Responsibilities
- Proactively establish yourself as a strategic business partner to the Global Channel and Partner organization
- Lead the global Partner Marketing function with direct reports in the US and Europe and dotted line reports in Asia
- Gain an in-depth understanding of PTC’s partners and their marketing strengths
- Drive channel marketing strategies and initiatives, owning the development, execution, and measurement of strategic quarterly and annual marketing plans
- Define the marketing strategy with key technology and alliances partners
- Maintain overall budget for the channel marketing team: allocating, tracking, and inspecting ROI on expenses
- Evolve the strategy for how we work with channel partners to drive greater value
- Develop tailored, actionable, and data-driven campaigns that drive the right leading indicators of success and drive pipeline for PTC products and services
- Work with PTC Marketing to build programs that source pipeline for the channel and ensure that partners follow-up and report on PTC generated leads
- Establish the right lead and lag metrics to track partner marketing performance and MDF
- Work with Marketing Analytics to establish dashboards that provide regular updates and insights to the business
- Work with channel partners to ensure the consistent implementation of PTC’s brand, messaging, campaigns, and assets (including social media, websites and PR)
- Coordinate co-marketing with technology and alliances partners
- Understand and guide channel partners on what good marketing looks like
- Manage and evolve the MDF program to help channel partners optimize their spending, and maximize their ROI
- Evaluate, approve and track MDF requests and spends
- Work with Marketing Analytics to build an ROI driven MDF dashboard
