Requirements
- Requires a MS, MPH or PharmD in business or a life sciences field
- 5+ years of experience in health service research, epidemiology, health policy, economics or related field
- 3+ years of progressively responsible experience in leading project teams in Health Outcomes
- 2+ years of experience managing client interactions
- Any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Responsibilities
- Leads a team to deliver on assigned goals and supports growth and success of Carelon Research or PPI
- Oversees project proposal development process and assists with the contract execution process
- Communicates project status, timelines, results and value messages to internal and external customers or partners
- Proactively evaluates project performance against plan
- Reviews financial analyses and business intelligence reports that provide insight into successes and shortfalls
- Contributes to the design of research studies in concert with our clients or business and Public Affairs partners
- Guides and mentors team in thinking critically and creatively to identify data assets, research questions, and analytic methodologies to respond to business needs
- Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.
Preferred Qualifications
- PharmD, Ph.D. or MD with background providing Real-World Evidence services with Pharmaceutical or Other Life Sciences Manufacturer clients strongly preferred.
