Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Marketing, or related field
- 5 years’ experience in business development, market development, product development, or related area OR 7 years’ experience in business development, market development, product development, or related area
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy that is data-driven and focused on driving sales growth and revenue for Walmart in the facilities maintenance space.
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, partnerships, and investments that align with Walmart’s strategic priorities in facilities maintenance, using data and market research to inform decision making.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry leaders, to drive sales growth and revenue in facilities maintenance, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including facilities maintenance, global tech, finance, operations, global people, marketing and Walmart’s Insource program, to develop and execute go-to-market strategies that are data-driven and customer-focused.
- Support Walmart’s Insource program by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities and partnerships that align with the program’s goals and objectives in facilities maintenance and providing strategic guidance and support to the Insource team as needed.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify opportunities for growth and improvement in facilities maintenance, using data to inform decision making.
- Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics to measure the success of business development initiatives in facilities maintenance.
- Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with strategic goals. Develop project plans, assign responsibilities, manage resources, and track progress against milestones.
- Ensure all activities are conducted in accordance with Walmart’s code of conduct and ethical standards.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in sales
- Master’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Engineering, or related field
- Planning and managing budgets
- Supervisory experience
- Working with cross-functional teams
