Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or related field.
- Minimum 15 years of relevant industry experience (CRO/Pharmaceutical), including 10 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record in sales and business development within the life sciences industry.
- Other equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.
Responsibilities
- Leading and managing a high-performing business development team, including performance evaluations, coaching, and professional development.
- Designing and executing a strategic sales program to drive organizational growth and meet revenue targets.
- Building and maintaining senior-level client relationships to identify and secure new business opportunities.
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to align business development strategies with operational capabilities.
- Overseeing the development and execution of Customer Account Plans to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities.
- Participating in proposal preparation and defense meetings to support business acquisition efforts.
- Representing the sales team in senior leadership meetings, providing updates on key business activities.
- Ensuring sales team members are trained and equipped to meet performance objectives.

- Strong understanding of drug development, commercialization, and industry trends.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
