- Excellent communicator with a bias for action and ability to manage up, down, and across
Responsibilities
- Distill the CRO’s strategic agenda into actionable execution plans and ensure cross-functional alignment
- Provide leverage to the CRO by managing follow-through, synthesizing insights, and escalating blockers
- Own top-priority initiatives by jumping into whatever is most urgent – building a new risk framework, tackling an investor request, leading a remediation plan, or developing a reporting package
- Create clarity and momentum on high-stakes deliverables, often with limited precedent

- In partnership with the ATLAS COO team, manage key risk committees including refining committee materials, policies, and deliverables at the level needed for executive visibility. Ensure compliance with charters and approval frameworks, post-approval follow-up, and monitoring and reporting of approval conditions (e.g., sell downs, etc.)
- Lead initiatives to advance risk capabilities across stress testing, risk appetite recalibration, and portfolio management
- In partnership with Technology and Risk Analytics, design risk ‘views’ and portfolio trends for executive leadership, investors, and the board (e.g., direct the build-out of risk dashboards, own board risk content, develop investor risk views, increase transparency to trends and themes in the portfolio)
- Lead high-priority risk projects and facilitate cross-functional risk alignment with Origination, Treasury, Finance, and Legal
- Partner within ATLAS to integrate risk metrics into performance dashboards and business planning
- Work with the risk and business teams on early warning indicators and advancing the monitoring and reporting on portfolio-level risk exposures and counterparty concentrations
