Requirements
- 8+ years experience in a Research Strategy, UX Operations, Program Management, Production, or other Operations Role
- A demonstrated ability to establish and improve programs and operations in a previous organization
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Strong track record of applying program management skills to understand business strategy and technology, inspire change, collaborate, and bring teams to success
- Understanding of videogames, the game industry and/or the AAA development lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Be responsible for the research organization’s ‘operational excellence’ strategic pillar
- Establish, socialize and implement operations strategy in collaboration with research leadership and cross-functional teams
- Own and standardize reporting, financial processes, resource utilization and risk management in alignment with broader business operations
- Manage our vendor portfolio including procurement, onboarding, contracts, budgeting and tracking
- Lead all aspects of research governance, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards, privacy regulations, and data security policies.
- Streamline processes across multiple locations and research lab sites (e.g. tech procurement & participant recruitment)
- Develop and maintain team resources and communications, including dashboards, templates, playbooks, documentation, and training materials.
- Hire, lead and mentor a small team of research program managers & lab coordinators
- Cultivate cross-functional relationships across 2K publishing and development studios
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with research-focused teams, tools and methodologies including legal compliance, participant recruitment and lab management
- Experience working in a global, enterprise-scale organization and/or in a client-facing or B2B role, with a customer service mentality
- Ability to travel, both domestically and internationally
