Requirements
- Two years of prior relevant experience in a restaurant as a dining host
- Excellent customer service skills
- Interpersonal skills
- High energy and positive attitude
Responsibilities
- Warmly welcome guests with a friendly and prompt greeting as they arrive at the restaurant
- Stay informed about the restaurant’s daily operations, including scheduled activities, in-house groups, daily guest counts, table and seating arrangements, proper table setups, room capacities, operating hours, and menu items
- Manage incoming phone calls while accurately maintaining reservations and making any updates as needed
- Engage with guests by smiling and hearing their story as you assist them with their seating selection
- Consistently provide a positive guest experience by maintaining the appearance of the front-of-house area to comply with company standards
Preferred Qualifications
- Two years of prior relevant experience in a restaurant as a dining host preferred
