Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, information systems, or related field
- One to three years of experience in digital product management or a similar role
- Strong analytical, prioritization, and communication skills
- Passion for building great mobile app products to solve customer problems and deliver business goals
- Experience working as a Scrum Master leading a dispersed global development team
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps
Responsibilities
- Oversee requirements discovery, solution design, user story writing, feature development, and user acceptance testing.
- Partner with the business team to identify critical capabilities needed as well as potential issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that everyone is on the same page regarding feature development and prioritization.
- Lead Scrum ceremonies to review work with the development team, UI/UX, and SMEs.
- Identify the risk of non-deliverance and collaborate with the team to devise a plan to mitigate the risk.
- Compare the velocity of the sprints and hold retrospectives to improve the efficiency of the scrum team.
- Coach teams on the importance of Agile program activities such as Sprint planning and ceremonies such as Daily Standup, Sprint Review, and Retrospective.
- Facilitate daily standups (or the daily Scrum) as needed.
- Protect the team from over-committing and scope creep. Aid in estimation and sub-task creation.
- Participate in the meeting and capture feedback.
- Note areas for improvement and action items for future sprints.
- Ensure that cards are up to date and that scrum tools like Jira software are working well.
- Regularly analyze burndown charts and other portfolio planning tools to understand what gets built and at what cadence.
- Aids the team by eliminating external blockers and managing internal roadblocks through process or workflow improvements.
