Requirements

  • A degree in marketing, communications, journalism, PR, English, or a related field
  • 1+ years of experience in journalism, editing, marketing, SEO, sales, digital PR, or related roles
  • Strong written, verbal, and persuasive communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities with a keen attention to detail
  • A self-starter mindset with a proactive approach to problem solving and learning
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with media professionals and digital influencers
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail, etc.)
  • Willingness to work in a hybrid environment—on-site in Draper, UT Monday–Thursday and remote on Fridays
  • A genuine interest in storytelling, media strategy, and the evolving world of digital PR

Responsibilities

  • Owning the digital PR strategy for your assigned brand
  • Creating newsworthy, data-driven content that earns links, mentions, media coverage, and placements across digital channels (e.g., podcasts, interviews, broadcasts)
  • Managing and maintaining the digital PR editorial calendar
  • Building and managing media outreach lists for campaign promotion
  • Pitching and placing content with journalists, bloggers, influencers, and top-tier publications through relationship building
  • Developing and maintaining strong media relationships to increase placement opportunities
  • Securing interviews and media opportunities for brand spokespeople and internal experts
  • Researching and testing new PR and link-building strategies to improve results
  • Tracking, analyzing, and reporting outreach progress and campaign performance to managers and stakeholders
  • Collaborating cross-functionally to support multi-channel marketing and communication campaigns
  • Owning and executing the brand’s organic Instagram strategy to support PR and content initiatives
