Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in digital media roles within media agencies, trading desks, or in-house teams
  • Experience planning and buying digital media across channels, including Connected TV, YouTube, Paid Social, Digital Audio, and Programmatic Display & Video
  • Hands-on experience with programmatic platforms (e.g., The Trade Desk, DV360, Google Ads)
  • Experience managing large budgets, multiple markets, and various metrics while collaborating across teams
  • Proficiency in taking media briefs, managing and optimizing campaigns, and reporting on effectiveness and efficiency
  • Ability to quickly adapt to shifting priorities and work collaboratively with multiple team members and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective digital media plans to drive profitable short- and long-term objectives in response to media briefs from stakeholders across the broader marketing organization
  • Build strong working relationships with key digital media partners to develop effective plans, improve media efficiency, and identify impactful partnership opportunities
  • Identify testing opportunities by experimenting with new and existing digital partners
  • Manage hands-on media activation via programmatic platforms (The Trade Desk, Google Ads, Meta) and optimize campaigns to achieve performance goals
  • Produce trafficking sheets for campaign launches in a timely manner, ensuring high-quality and accurate ad delivery
  • Partner with Analytics to build measurement plans and capabilities that evaluate the business impact of media activations
  • Provide timely and accurate inputs for key media planning artifacts, including strategy documents, media plans, and spec sheets
  • Support and mentor junior colleagues, specifically the Senior Media Specialist on the Hotels.com team

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with Agile methodologies and practices (preferred)
