Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in email/lifecycle marketing.
  • Strong grasp of email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Klaviyo, HubSpot, etc.).
  • Solid understanding of email best practices, deliverability, CAN-SPAM/GDPR compliance.
  • Analytical mindset with a knack for interpreting data and making informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Comfortable explaining marketing concepts and strategies to stakeholders from all levels of the organization.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, Advertising, Communications, English or other relevant area.
  • 1-2 years experience with a customer engagement platform or email service provider, Braze preferred.
  • Microsoft office proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

  • Own and execute email marketing campaigns from ideation to deployment and performance tracking.
  • Become an expert on the U-Haul customer and make data-driven decisions to level-up existing campaigns.
  • A/B test subject lines, content, and send times to maximize engagement and ROI.
  • Partner with developers and tech counterparts to ensure customer data is brought into Braze seamlessly.
  • Monitor performance metrics (open rates, CTR, conversions) and optimize campaigns for best results.
  • Manage and segment email lists for targeted communications and customer journeys.
  • Assist in reporting and analytics to continuously improve the email marketing strategy.
  • Launch SMS marketing – integrate this new channel with our existing communication strategy.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of SMS marketing. Understanding of SMS best practice and compliance.
  • Basic knowledge HTML and CSS.
  • 1-2 years experience with Google Analytics 4.
