Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, public relations, journalism or similar and relevant major.
- 5-7 years of corporate communications and/or agency experience required.
- Extremely strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience writing for and deploying across corporate channels.
- Demonstrate strong technical aptitude by managing and optimizing communications platforms and tools (intranet and website CMS, email distribution, analytics dashboards), ensuring seamless content delivery, system functionality, and user experience.
- Adept at collaborating with internal and external partners; experience in building relationships with key stakeholders; strong interpersonal skills.
- Detail oriented, proactive, organized and action oriented.
- Excellent project management and execution skills.
- Basic graphic design skills (Canva and Adobe Creative Suite preferred).
Responsibilities
- Own the intranet strategy and roadmap, ensuring it aligns with business goals, internal communications priorities, and employee engagement objectives.
- Manage day-to-day operations of the intranet platform, including regular content updates, user access, site structure, and technical troubleshooting in partnership with IT and HR.
- Champion the intranet as FBIN’s digital home, promoting continued adoption and awareness through campaigns, training, and ongoing support.
- Manage the corporate website by keeping content up to date, ensuring it reflects our company-messaging and priorities, and partnering with our web vendor to maintain optimal functionality, performance, and user experience.
- Issue FBIN press releases and review brand press releases.
- Manage the editorial/content calendar and support content governance processes.
- Uphold brand and editorial standards, ensuring all content is accurate, accessible, and aligned with corporate guidelines.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and deploy high-quality content in support of corporate initiatives and culture for internal and external digital platforms, while also supporting day-to-day communication needs across channels. Channels include the intranet, internal email newsletters, social media and the corporate website.
- Provides support to the broader communications team by managing distribution lists and coordinating the preparation and delivery of company-wide emails.
- Own the management of digital assets, including brand, people and community photography, executive photos.
