Requirements
- Minimum of 5 (8 years preferred) of relevant work experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience (2 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree)
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell
- Hands-on experience with Azure cloud platforms
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins
- Experience managing and scaling containerized applications with Docker and Kubernetes
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet)
- Solid understanding of networking, security, and system administration principles
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- US citizenship is required
- Ability to obtain TS clearance or higher
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins to support automated builds, testing, and deployments
- Develop and manage infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize the performance of Azure cloud infrastructure
- Implement robust security practices for deployment pipelines, infrastructure, and application configurations
- Manage version control workflows and integrations using Bitbucket
- Automate workflows and tasks using Jira Automation and good DevOps practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements
- Maintain system availability and reliability through proactive monitoring and incident response
- Stay updated on emerging tools, trends, and practices in DevOps and cloud technologies
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications in cloud technologies (e.g., Azure DevOps Engineer Expert)
- Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or similar
- Knowledge of database administration and optimization
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and best practices
