Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in design leadership roles across interactive media, gaming, or digital product innovation.
- A strong portfolio of visually compelling work across interactive formats—games, ad experiences, immersive UI, or content prototypes.
- Proven ability to design rapid prototypes and translate abstract ideas into testable, user-ready concepts.
- Experience managing external partners and guiding creative execution across multiple projects and teams.
- Outstanding storytelling and presentation skills; able to frame complex ideas clearly and persuasively for executive stakeholders.
- Fluency in design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, After Effects, Unity, Framer, Principle), and comfort collaborating with technical teams.
- Passion for pushing the boundaries of interactive design on the biggest screens in the home.
Responsibilities
- Define and own the visual and interaction design language for Samsung’s interactive entertainment and ad-supported experiences.
- Create high-impact design concepts and prototypes that bring new game mechanics, interactive ad formats, and content engagement ideas to life.
- Lead design strategy for rapid experimentation and user research, translating feedback into actionable iterations.
- Manage external creative partners and studios to ensure alignment with Samsung’s design vision and executional standards.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional product, engineering, and content teams to bring new interactive experiences to life.
- Act as the storytelling lead for design—crafting compelling visual narratives and presentations for executive audiences and strategic partners.
- Maintaining/iterating live mini-games/GameBreaks with visual/ux updates (New features, bug fixes, seasonal imagery, client sponsorship integration, etc)
- Supporting the development and delivery of final products to market (making production ready assets, iterating on polish, supporting bug fixes, etc)
- Help build and scale a dedicated design prototyping team, defining roles, processes, and creative best practices.
