Requirements
- 10+ years experience in user-centered design, interaction design, and usability heuristics for B2B or B2C products
- 2+ years leading an iterative design team, managing design responsibilities against defined milestones
- Thorough understanding of designing for web and mobile (iOS / Android) applications, with a strong command of responsive design and native mobile design standards
- Proficiency in UI/UX design and building design systems with industry-standard design tools like Figma and Zeplin
- Experience conducting A/B testing, usability testing, and analyzing qualitative + quantitative data
- Experience with using design research methods to discover insights and translate them into actionable design improvements
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of designers, ensuring they have the support, guidance, and resources to succeed
- Set and execute the design vision, balancing user needs, business objectives, and technical feasibility
- Champion a deep understanding of customer needs, behaviors, and pain points to ensure user-centric thinking is embedded throughout our design process
- Establish scalable design processes to improve efficiency, quality, and consistency across product and marketing initiatives
- Provide hands-on design direction and critique, ensuring high-quality execution across UI/UX, branding, and marketing assets
- Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Marketing to align on design priorities and deliver user-centric solutions
- Develop and maintain a strong design system, ensuring consistency across web, mobile, and brand experiences
- Drive user research initiatives, incorporating insights into design strategy and product development
- Advocate for design excellence at all levels of the organization, influencing leadership on the value of design
- Balance strategic thinking with execution, ensuring the team meets deadlines while delivering high-impact designs
- Foster a culture of experimentation, data-driven decision-making, and continuous improvement
