Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen
- Must possess a US TS/SCI with Poly Clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or Engineering plus a total of ten (10) years’ experience in Management level positions. OR,
- Bachelor’s degree in another field and ten (10) years of experience in project level positions PLUS six (6) years’ experience in the field of Engineering or Business
- PMP Certification (Project Management Professional)
- Personnel management experience with excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Proficient knowledge and experience in the use of project management concepts to manage items including, but not limited to: project schedule, scope, cost, risk, and deliverables and related metrics
- Knowledge of Customer exercise or crisis management communities and experience planning, coordinating and executing support to special events
- Familiarity and willingness to manage a 24/7/365 operational environment
Responsibilities
- Fully coordinate and collaborate on all tasks, activities, requirements and issues as they pertain to the support of the Customer
- Identify issues and adapt program plans according to the Customer feedback on program cost, performance, quality, schedule and risk.
- Develop plans and schedules, and define and document the implementation of requirements
- Use established program management procedures to monitor cost, schedule, inventory, and performance; assess variances of the plan and take necessary corrective action.
- Review and clarify contract requirements as they are dispensed from the requirements management tool, and propose cleared, qualified personnel to expeditiously fulfill the requirements
- Identify potential downstream issues that may negatively affect meeting requirements and provide recommendations to mitigate negative impacts
- Manage customer expectations with proactive, consistent and transparent communication.
- Ensure continuity of support with contractor personnel changes and approving of TO staffing alignments /allocations
- Interface with the CO, COTR and Government leadership
- Oversee the execution of the Transition Plan
- Oversee the management and implementation of the PMP
- Serve as a primary point of contact for formal discussion with the customer, including frequent customer interaction with the intent to sustain and improve customer satisfaction
- Oversee the Contractor’s Environmental, Health and Safety functions, ensuring that all safe work practices are being followed
- Monitor cost control, financial reports, budgeting, and overall operating costs
- Oversee the coordination of work priorities and monitoring of methods, procedures and programs
- Improve cost-effectiveness and efficiency
- Oversee the monitoring and inspecting of maintenance, repair and service operations for quality control and contract compliance
- Ensure that management and contract reports are accurate before submission.
