Deputy Design Technology Manager

Bachelor’s degree is required.
Minimum 5 years of experience with BIM software is required.
Experience with, and understanding of, Engineering, Architecture, and Construction terminology is required.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong computer skills (e.g. Microsoft Office Suite, Revit, AutoCAD).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail, facilitation, team building, collaboration, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Requires effective time management skills, personal conduct, and change management abilities.
Ability to effectively interact with co-workers, clients, vendors, and other business contacts.
Must comply with Vestal Corporations’ core values for the safe and efficient operation of the business and maintain sound relationships among and with employees.

Work with discipline directors to identify, recruit, train, mentor, and provide career direction to discipline-based BIM coordinators.
Manage the monitoring and reporting of the technology and innovation implementation performance progress.
Lead BIM readiness to support lean construction concepts like prefabrication.
Identify opportunities to improve performance in areas like interoperability with platforms used by our clients and consumers, like Procore.
Maintain, implement, monitor, and adjust Vestal BIM standards and procedures.
Maintain membership and participate in select applicable professional organizations and encourage others in BIM careers to do the same.
Lead onboarding of new BIM resources.
Develop and implement training programs to ensure Vestal is collectively using all the BIM tools efficiently as a team.
Work with Director of IT regarding IT systems requirements.
Comply with Company’s Quality Control and Project Management procedures.
Promote a positive working environment in order to achieve the organization’s goals.
Perform other duties as assigned.
