Deputy Chief Engineer

Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
5+ years of experience leading a multi-disciplined engineering team that includes suppliers and customers
5+ years of experience in leading a team of engineers, suppliers, and support personnel in the technical design, development, integration, and test of a large scale complex mechanical and fluid system test facility
Effectively communicate with technical and non-technical personnel at all organization levels including suppliers and customers

Oversee a team of engineers, suppliers, and facility personnel in the technical development, integration, and test of a large scale complex mechanical and fluid system test facility
Serve as the Deputy Chief Engineer for the program accountable for technical integrity and safety
Provide leadership to drive integration, resolve technical issues, resolve supplier technical issues, and resolve requirements issues
Ensure technical baseline control and support technical oversight and direction
Identify technical risks and ensure technical risks and issues are driven to resolution
Chair the Engineering Change Board, Project Technical Reviews and Safety Review Board

Experience in a Chief Engineer or Lead Engineer role responsible for ensuring system and product integration across multiple disciplines
Demonstrated leadership for driving issue resolution and mitigating technical risk
Experience working with product/component developers and vendors who provide critical functionality to the overall system
Familiarity with ASME Piping Codes and Standards
