Requirements
- Ability to communicate effectively and diplomatically within a multi-functional team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to successfully function in a fast paced, service oriented environment
- Experience in understanding and usage of computers as well as the ability to learn applications relevant to the position preferred.
Responsibilities
- Sterilizes equipment, wraps clean supplies and equipment and maintains records for all equipment.
- Assembles equipment and rechecks all equipment for cleanliness and/or impairment.
- Loads and sends proper items through the washer, hand washing other items according to policies and procedures.
- Makes sure all equipment is properly maintained and all filters have been cleaned or exchanged.
- Logs equipment for cleaning and repair.
- Checks all equipment for cleanliness and/or impairment and checks power equipment.
- Performs routine adjustments and calibrations on equipment.
- Bags and tags all equipment indicating patient ready or requiring further repair.
- Assists with stocking and ordering supplies, assembling orders and performing deliveries and/or pick ups.
- Assists with on call on a rotational basis.
