Requirements
- Previous leadership experience
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to cultivate strong and productive interpersonal relationships both internally with staff and externally with clients
- Minimum 3-5 years insurance brokerage experience
- Level 2 insurance license, industry designation (CAIB, CIP, FCIP, CRM) preferred
- Working knowledge of the various BC auto insurance product offerings
- Proficiency with ICBC’s PolicyCenter, Autolink and EPIC
Responsibilities
- Help develop and lead the execution of an annual business plan to maintain and grow a book of business through: New business generation, Business retention, Cross-selling, Lead generation
- Inspire and coach your team to deliver a memorable client experience and uphold service standards
- Manage operational aspects of the team including scheduling, dispatching, corporate branding, collections and accounts receivables, office aesthetics & cleanliness, etc.
- Ensure compliance with ICBC rules and regulations through regular check-ins and inspection including batching, inventory management, forms completion and training completion
- Support office team with respect to batching, inventory management, dealer billing AR’s
- Ensure high employee engagement through recruiting, talent management, development, and career planning
- Provide clear, concise, and consistent communication to the team (branch specific, corporate communications, etc.)
- Ensure monthly team meetings, regular huddles and monthly staff one on ones are scheduled and executed
- Ensure strong dealer relationships and issues are treated with a high sense of urgency so they can be resolved quickly and amicably
- Participate in both the business and industry communities to build a network of contacts that improve the presence and reputation of the branch and organization
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned, including occasional servicing of clients at dealerships and in office
