Database Administrator Sr

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
7-10 years of hands-on experience in SQL Server database administration.
Proficiency in T-SQL, query optimization, and performance tuning.
Strong expertise in implementing and managing high availability and disaster recovery solutions.
Knowledge of database security best practices, including encryption and auditing.
Experience with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell) for automation.
Project management skills and the ability to lead and mentor a team.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to multitask and switch to higher priority tasks when required.
Ability to work under pressure.

Manage and maintain our SQL Server database infrastructure, including installation, configuration, and upgrades.
Implement and maintain high availability and disaster recovery solutions, such as AlwaysOn Availability Groups and database mirroring.
Perform routine database administration tasks, including backup and recovery, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
Collaborate with application developers to optimize database design, queries, and stored procedures for performance and scalability.
Establish and enforce security policies and access controls to protect sensitive data.
Lead database-related projects, including version upgrades, migrations, and capacity planning.
Mentor and provide guidance to junior DBAs and team members.
Stay up to date with the latest SQL Server developments and best practices.
Document database configurations, processes, and procedures.
