Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in data science conducting quantitative analysis on large datasets, or an equivalent analytical role (preferably at a consumer tech company).
- Expert level experience in using SQL to extract and analyze complex data sets.
- 3+ years of experience in using statistical techniques, including demonstrated experience in the following: Descriptive statistics (mean, median, standard deviation, etc.), Inferential statistics (hypothesis testing, confidence intervals), Regression analysis (linear, logistic, multiple regression), ANOVA (Analysis of Variance), Time series analysis, Statistical process control (SPC).
- 2+ years of experience in product experimentation (i.e. A/B testing).
- 2+ years of experience in building dashboards using analytics tools like Tableau, Looker, Sigma etc.
- Excellent communicator with the ability to communicate complex analyses to stakeholders to influence product strategy.
- Self-starter with a strong desire to own projects end-to-end.
- Impact-focused, eager to jump in and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborative nature, forming trusting relationships with your cross-functional teammates.
- BS in Computer Science, Data Science or related field.
Responsibilities
- Determine actionable, data-driven recommendations on feature development and prioritization based on a deep understanding of user engagement and behavior.
- Partner with Product, Engineering, and Design teams through the full product lifecycle, from ideation and exploratory analysis to goal setting and measuring impact.
- Define KPIs, build dashboards to monitor performance, and conduct root cause analysis to understand business drivers and providing Ladder with actionable insights.
- Collaborate with engineering to design scalable data infrastructure.
- Design and analyze A/B tests to assess the impact of product changes.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in supporting product teams in direct-to-consumer space (B2C).
- 1+ years of experience in building statistical and/or AI/ML models.
- Experience working in a regulated industry (finance, insurance, healthcare, etc) a plus.
