Requirements
- Advanced degree (master’s and/or Ph.D.) required in Data Science, Operations Research, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a comparable field.
- Good business acumen, interested in business processes, and can translate business problems into technical solutions.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python.
- Advanced knowledge of SQL and database management.
- Strong background in machine learning, deep learning, statistical modeling, and/or optimization.
- Experience with GenAI/AI/deep learning frameworks and libraries.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Participate in dynamic 8-month rotations across key Digital Technology functions, gaining exposure to core systems and processes.
- Work on impactful, real-world projects that address critical business challenges and contribute to the digitalization of Otis operations globally.
- Collaborate with rotation managers and mentors to deepen technical knowledge, develop innovative solutions, and build cross-functional leadership capabilities.
- Engage with the DT Engagement Teams and DT Energy Board to support strategic initiatives and broaden your network.
- Provide updates on your progress and impact through system-based tracking tools, ensuring transparency and alignment with program goals.
- Contribute to the development and execution of organizational strategies that leverage technology for long-term success.
- Research and develop advanced AI models and algorithms to solve complex problems.
- Design and implement machine learning, deep learning systems, and other data science solutions to solve specific business problems.
- Analyze large datasets to extract meaningful insights and patterns.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI and data science solutions into products and services.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI and data science technologies.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with mediating data quality issues, including measuring data quality, determining sources of quality issues, and solving them.
- Experience with cloud platforms like Azure or Google Cloud.
- Familiarity with big data technologies such as Hadoop or Spark.
