Requirements
- MS of PhD in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, or other quantitative fields
- 2+ years of experience as a Data Scientist building models that help optimize business decisions
- Expertise in experimentation and general statistical modeling, hypothesis testing, causal inference, study design
- Ability to build ML models and end-to-end deployment with optimization frameworks
- Experience with a statistical scripting language (e.g., R, Python), a database query language (SQL, BigQuery, etc.), and version control systems
- Understanding of shopper/customer pay models, dynamic delivery window, micro-economics, and market dynamics
Responsibilities
- Develop Data Science and Machine Learning solutions to ensure on-time and high quality deliveries
- Work on a team of multiple Data Scientists to build forecast, probability, and predictive models in the availability engine
- Develop and continuously improve machine learning models
- Analyze the performance of the models
- Experiment with different delivery promise solutions using Python, SQL, and Tableau
