Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance with FS polygraph
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• BS: 10-12 years of experience
• MS: 8-10 years of experience
• PhD: 5-7 years of experience
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills with the ability to develop original concepts and theories
• Experience with technology design, adapting systems to meet user needs
• Ability to translate customer requirements into total systems solutions that balance technical needs, schedules, and cost constraints
• Experience with ETL development (data processing automation)
• Data modeling, transaction flow analysis, and risk analysis
• Java, Python
• AWS and AWS tool suite for data management optimization
• Knowledge of enterprise data strategy, data governance, data architecture, metadata management, and performance measurement techniques
• Experience in full life-cycle software development projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide expertise in data management tools, applications, and services to enhance operational efficiency
• Evaluate and recommend data management solutions based on validated user and system requirements
• Refine and enhance ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to improve data integration and automation
• Define file organization, indexing methods, and security protocols to optimize data storage and retrieval
• Plan and coordinate security measures, including data integrity, backup systems, and database security.

• Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
• Experience with Apache NiFi
