Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Information Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in data management, data governance, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of data literacy concepts and the importance of data cataloging.
- Excellent communication and training skills, with the ability to convey complex information in an understandable manner.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the business data catalog, ensuring it is comprehensive, accurate, and up-to-date.
- Identify and document key data and reports available across the bank, associating them with KDEs and domains.
- Collaborate with various departments to gather and validate data catalog information.
- Design and deliver training programs to educate users on the functionality and benefits of the data catalog.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to users, helping them navigate and utilize the data catalog effectively.
- Work closely with data governance and IT teams to ensure data catalog alignment with overall data strategy and governance policies.
- Continuously improve the data catalog based on user feedback and evolving business needs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in data cataloging tools and technologies is a plus.
