Requirements
- You have a strong background in leading security-focused data teams at a large-scale, consumer-facing company.
- You have 8+ years of overall experience in data engineering, and your background includes strong programming (at least 1 major language) and SQL experience.
- You have strong experience with distributed data processing technologies (i.e., Spark/Hadoop, etc.)
- You have 3+ years of engineering leadership experience.
- You have an MS or BS in Computer Science/Engineering, or a related technical field.
- You have led globally distributed teams and are well-versed with best practices for promoting cross-region collaboration.
Responsibilities
- You intuitively understand the impact of security on the business, and you leverage that to guide the team by providing context and inspiration.
- You are constantly on the lookout for talent and have a knack for recognizing and attracting top-tier engineers to your team.
- You will coach and guide employees through their strengths and weaknesses through regular feedback.
- You will work to establish strong relationships with stakeholders across partner engineering teams.
