Requirements
- Proficiency in Python, Java, and Go for backend and data engineering tasks.
- Strong command of SQL for querying and transforming data.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services (e.g., S3, Lambda, Redshift, Glue) and GCP tools (e.g., BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Storage).
- Understanding of data modeling, normalization, and database design principles.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using Python, Java, and Go.
- Write efficient, well-documented SQL queries to extract and transform data from various sources.
- Assist in building and optimizing ETL processes to support business intelligence and data science needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and ensure data accuracy and availability.
- Work with large datasets and modern cloud-based tools and platforms (AWS, GCP).
- Support the implementation and monitoring of data quality checks and validation processes.
- Document data processes and contribute to internal knowledge bases.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with containerization (e.g., Docker) and orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of data orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, Prefect).
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Familiarity with streaming data platforms (e.g., Kafka, Pub/Sub).
