Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in system/data integration, or the development and implementation of enterprise/cloud software.
- Strong experience designing and building solutions for data lakes and data warehouses, with required proficiency in Informatica Cloud for ETL pipelines.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Python for data processing and automation.
- Expertise in data wrangling and query authoring in both SQL and NoSQL environments for structured and unstructured data.
- Hands-on experience with cloud computing environments, specifically Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Proven experience with both RESTful and SOAP Web APIs.
- Solid understanding of Agile software development methodologies.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Assume ownership of the complete service lifecycle, ensuring the data and analytics services provided to business users are reliable, high-quality, and meet their needs.
- Guide the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) for the analytics team, from architecture and development to deployment and support, ensuring all activities align with stakeholder needs and service level agreements.
- Design, implement, and manage our data platforms, including data lakes and data warehouses, and their associated integration pipelines, utilizing modern ETL tools.
- Provide technical guidance and hands-on support for data wrangling, query authoring (SQL and NoSQL), and utilizing Web APIs (RESTful, SOAP) to ensure seamless service integration.
- Establish and enforce data governance best practices—including data observability, cataloging, lineage, and quality assurance—to maintain the integrity and trustworthiness of the data services.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive business, functional, and technical documentation. Create unit/functional test cases, test scripts, and runbooks to ensure service reliability.
- Work effectively with a cross-functional team of architects, data engineers, BI engineers, and business analysts to analyze requirements, troubleshoot major issues, and deliver effective solutions.
- Manage incidents using systems like Jira or ServiceNow, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and create change management packages to continuously improve service performance and stability.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with data visualization and reporting tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Familiarity with Data Governance tools and processes (Data Observability, Quality, Cataloging, Lineage).
- Previous experience with the Anaplan platform is a significant advantage.
- Experience with enterprise risk management processes.
