Requirements
- Experience with digital analytics implementation across web and/or mobile platforms, including app telemetry, event tracking frameworks, and tag management systems
- Deep understanding of server-side tracking approaches, including event orchestration through APIs, cloud functions, or event hubs
- Familiarity with customer data activation workflows, including data collection, enrichment, and real-time audience delivery
- Strong working knowledge of JavaScript and React/React Native, with experience implementing or supporting telemetry and instrumentation in digital environments
- Solid grasp of SQL, and comfort working with structured data for analysis, QA, and validation
- In-depth understanding of privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and how they apply in practice to digital data collection, including mobile consent management and cookie governance
- Familiarity with agile methodologies, including working within or alongside product teams to deliver iterative, data-informed enhancements
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable analytics systems across Aritzia’s digital properties — with a focus on both web and mobile platforms (e.g., iOS, React Native) — establishing best practices for tracking infrastructure, data collection, and documentation
- Lead the development of a robust, server-side tracking framework, integrating with APIs and data pipelines to support real-time customer insights and scalable event handling
- Partner with cross-functional teams to develop clear and actionable measurement plans, ensuring tracking requirements align with business objectives across new and existing digital experiences
- Leverage first-party data and server-side activation strategies to enhance customer intelligence, drive advertising effectiveness, and personalize user experiences across digital touchpoints
- Integrate customer consent and privacy preferences directly into both web and app experiences, ensuring compliance with global privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) while maintaining data integrity
- Support the use of advanced segmentation, experimentation, and journey orchestration to optimize the customer experience across web and mobile platforms
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in e-commerce, digital marketing, or omni-channel retail is preferred
