Requirements
- An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED “SECRET” Federal or DoD security clearance
- Bachelor’s Degree
- THREE (3) or more years of experience as a data scientist, data analyst or data engineer
Responsibilities
- Provide data solutions (analysis, data engineering, etc.) to a Department of Defense client
- Perform technical tasks that include, but are not limited to, building data pipelines, developing visualizations and dashboards, and building predictive models across multiple domain areas
- Convert business and functional requirements into data pipelines, complex reports, data visualizations, and/or predictive models
- Maintain good working relationships with clients to enhance the customer experience
- Present and communicate information to clients that enable them to make data-driven decisions
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in computer science or related field
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Experience with design and build of ETL programs, interfaces, and data reconciliation processes
- Experience with developing and deploying AI/ML or predictive models to solve problems or improve efficiency
- Experience developing reports and dashboards for data consumers
- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of staff within an organization
