Requirements
- 2+ years of experience with data exploration, data cleaning, data analysis, data visualization, or data mining
- 2+ years of experience communicating analysis in both written and verbal forms
- Experience writing analytical and technical reports and developing data visualizations to deliver key insights
- Experience with a scripting language such as SQL, R, or Python to extract data and perform analytics and visualizations
- Knowledge of good data principles, including data cleaning, preprocessing, and wrangling
- Ability to clearly convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders and provide writing samples
- Ability to maintain accuracy while dealing with large data sets with a high attention to detail and quality
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor’s degree
Responsibilities
- Work closely with clients to understand their questions and needs
- Dig into data-rich environments to find pieces of information
- Provide a deep understanding of client data
- Advise clients on what the information means and how it can be used to make an impact
- Drive large-scale business and process decisions through data insights
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with inferential statistics, including hypothesis testing, confidence intervals, and design of experiments
- Experience with DevOps principles and Agile methodologies such as Kanban and Scrum
- Experience with version control systems such as Git
- Knowledge of descriptive statistics, including measures of central tendency and dispersion
- Knowledge of probability distributions, both discrete and continuous
