Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (e.g. finance, computer science, mathematics) some combination of business and technology education is highly preferred or have related work experience.
- Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in business, engineering, technology and/or consulting.
- Knowledge of Agile development methodologies and business/systems analysis.
- Demonstrable experience with client data sets (company, contact, financial transactions/accounts, and retirement plans) and an ability to mine such data and produce analyses.
- Experimental approach to drive innovation in a fast-paced environment amidst uncertainty.
- Good analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Good written/verbal communication skills with attention to detail, and the ability to communicate to the managers on the analysis and results.
- Solid proficiency in learning new tools and technologies to work optimally in a rapid growth environment.

Responsibilities
- Work with the Enterprise Data Management and their team, as well as other business leaders on the near and long-term roadmap for two key capabilities within American Century’s data and analytics workstreams: Data Mastery and Data products and Self-Service Data Analytics.
- Act in the role of product owner and define and prioritize the product backlog for various investment data domains.
- Interact and collaborate with Business leaders, Product Managers and Product Owners in Marketing, Sales and Distribution, along with the development team(s), business users and other partners to understand the vision for the business and reduce risk.
- Own and maintain a product backlog that ultimately seeks to deliver data and business solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Financial Services experience
- Good understanding of data mastering, knowledge of ETL development and ability to prepare technical specifications will be very favorable.
