Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity leadership roles, whether as a practitioner, analyst, or strategic advisor.
- Strong program and project management experience, with a demonstrated ability to bring complex initiatives from concept to execution in cross-functional environments.
- Proven public speaking skills across various formats: keynotes, panels, executive briefings, and customer workshops.
- Deep expertise in cybersecurity domains, including threat protection, incident response, data protection, and security culture/awareness.
- Understanding of modern cybersecurity technologies, including cloud platforms (e.g., M365, Google Workspace), threat intelligence, and AI/ML use cases in security.
- Working knowledge of networking fundamentals (e.g., DNS, email and web protocols) and how these intersect with current threat trends.
- Familiarity with the cybersecurity vendor landscape, with an ability to articulate Proofpoint’s competitive advantages.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and process-driven, with the ability to manage multiple high-priority programs simultaneously.
- Self-motivated and proactive, able to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
- Willingness to travel up to 50%.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in cybersecurity, computer science, or related field.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a Program Management lead, bringing structure, prioritization, and execution to high-impact cybersecurity initiatives and customer engagements.
- Act as a public-facing spokesperson for Proofpoint, representing the brand at industry conferences, webinars, roundtables, and Proofpoint-sponsored events.
- Partner with field sales and technical sales teams globally to support strategic accounts with insights, briefings, and roadmap discussions.
- Build trusted relationships with security leaders and practitioners to provide expert guidance on using Proofpoint’s products to strengthen security posture and reduce risk.
- Support field and channel marketing by delivering impactful presentations, enablement sessions, and co-marketing events.
- Drive operational execution of evangelism programs, customer briefings, and strategic initiatives led by the global cybersecurity strategy team.
- Provide strategic feedback to product management and product marketing teams to ensure customer needs and market dynamics are reflected in Proofpoint’s offerings.
- Contribute to the development of cybersecurity thought leadership content, best practices, and program guidance used across the organization.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree and or CISSP preferred.
- Lean, Six Sigma, or Lean Sigma green or black belt preferred.
