Requirements
- 3+ years of experience with Assessment and Authorization (A&A) and hands-on implementation and execution of all steps of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process
- 3+ years of experience with hands-on cybersecurity compliance testing using industry standard tools, including Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) and DoD Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG), SCAP, scan analysis, IP networking, and communications
- 3+ years of experience supporting the engineering of Information Technology (IT) systems for a DoD or government agency
- Experience developing RMF artifacts
- Experience with cybersecurity constructs and vulnerability analysis to determine applicability, risk, impact, mitigations, and remediations, and supporting DoD afloat network systems, enterprise services, and wide area networks
- Ability to interact directly with clients to identify problems, analyze data, generate solutions, and communicate results
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physical Science
- DoD 8140 Certification
Responsibilities
- Develop relationships quickly and easily with other teams, communicating the complexities of security with a wide variety of audiences, including senior management
- Implement infrastructure and cybersecurity controls, including enhanced detection and vulnerability capabilities and improved event correlation in large enterprises
- Perform risk and vulnerability assessments in network, system, and application areas
- Leverage big data analytics and traditional security event types to identify advanced threats or indicators of compromise
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience as a Navy Qualified Validator
- Experience with Navy networks and enterprise systems, both ashore and afloat
- Top Secret clearance
- Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physical Science
- Linux OS Certification
