Requirements
- Experience with critical protocols, information assurance or information security (IA/IS) architecture, embedded systems, network design processes, risk management, and network security architecture
- Knowledge of Defense-In-Depth principles, to design an organization’s IT architecture
- Ability to provide expertise in the systems lifecycle to the systems security design process
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and 9+ years of experience working in a professional environment, Master’s degree and 7+ years of experience working in a professional environment, or Doctorate degree and 5+ years of experience working in a professional environment
Responsibilities
- Develop and provide strategic recommendations to NCT for firewall rule optimizations
- Enhance organizational security and efficiency
- Oversee and validate network change requests related to firewall rules
- Ensure alignment with security policies and operational requirements
- Drive automation initiatives by developing scripts and workflows to streamline processes
- Offer guidance on strengthening the security posture of network appliances and ensuring compliance with industry standards
