Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Cybersecurity.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Linux server administration.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with container technologies (Docker, container) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes).
- Hands-on experience with both structured and unstructured databases.
- Knowledge of data protection at application level and transparent level.
- Knowledge of hardware security modules.
- In-depth understanding of networking concepts and services such as DNS, DHCP, NFS, SMTP, SNMP.
- Knowledge of security technologies (encryption, data protection, design, privilege access, etc.)
- Thorough understanding of Information security policies, controls, and processes.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and time management skills.
- Thorough understanding of regulatory GDPR and PCI DSS.
- Proficiency in MS Office software applications specially Word, Excel, Power Point and Visio.
- Ability to work independently without supervision and communicate clearly -both written and verbally.
Responsibilities
- Interfaces with user community to understand security needs and implements procedures to accommodate them.
- Implements and manages data discovery and data protection technology solutions.
- Responsible to discover sensitive data and analyze the reports to identify positive and false positives.
- Works with internal and external application teams across different business units and assist them in integrating data protection solutions in their applications.
- Responds to information security-related questions and inquiries using established information security tools and procedures.
- Troubleshoots data discovery and protection related incidents on day-to-day basis.
- Maintains security systems and administers security policies to control access to systems.
- Upgrades appliances and servers frequently to remediate vulnerabilities and make new features available to our consumers.
- Monitors the health of the tools and servers.
- Ensures that all servers are hardened for compliance and/or industry standards.
- Ensures that company meets all security standards for internal or external audits.
- Represents configuration changes and major upgrades in change control.
- Coordinates with patching teams and scanning to remediate vulnerabilities.
- Actively participates in the daily standup meetings with team members to discuss about ongoing tasks.
- Works with Vendors in reporting and troubleshooting technical issues.
- Ensures that all the documentation is up to date.
- Other related duties assigned as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- CISSP Certification.
- Experience with BigID data discovery & classification.
