Minimum of 5 years of experience in Cybersecurity.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in Linux server administration.
Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with container technologies (Docker, container) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes).
Hands-on experience with both structured and unstructured databases.
Knowledge of data protection at application level and transparent level.
Knowledge of hardware security modules.
In-depth understanding of networking concepts and services such as DNS, DHCP, NFS, SMTP, SNMP.
Knowledge of security technologies (encryption, data protection, design, privilege access, etc.)
Thorough understanding of Information security policies, controls, and processes.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and time management skills.
Thorough understanding of regulatory GDPR and PCI DSS.
Proficiency in MS Office software applications specially Word, Excel, Power Point and Visio.
Ability to work independently without supervision and communicate clearly -both written and verbally.

Interfaces with user community to understand security needs and implements procedures to accommodate them.
Implements and manages data discovery and data protection technology solutions.
Responsible to discover sensitive data and analyze the reports to identify positive and false positives.
Works with internal and external application teams across different business units and assist them in integrating data protection solutions in their applications.
Responds to information security-related questions and inquiries using established information security tools and procedures.
Troubleshoots data discovery and protection related incidents on day-to-day basis.
Maintains security systems and administers security policies to control access to systems.
Upgrades appliances and servers frequently to remediate vulnerabilities and make new features available to our consumers.
Monitors the health of the tools and servers.
Ensures that all servers are hardened for compliance and/or industry standards.
Ensures that company meets all security standards for internal or external audits.
Represents configuration changes and major upgrades in change control.
Coordinates with patching teams and scanning to remediate vulnerabilities.
Actively participates in the daily standup meetings with team members to discuss about ongoing tasks.
Works with Vendors in reporting and troubleshooting technical issues.
Ensures that all the documentation is up to date.
Other related duties assigned as needed.
