Cyber Software Engineer – Senior Advisor

An active TS/SCI security clearance with current polygraph is required
At least Twenty (20) years of experience in software development/engineering, including requirements analysis, software development, installation, integration, evaluation, enhancement, maintenance, testing, and problem diagnosis/resolution
A bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required
Five (5) years of additional software engineering experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree
Willingness to be a committer/contributor to open source applications
Experience in Java programming for distributed systems, that includes networking and multi-threading

Working with a massively parallel enterprise platform, built with Java on Free and Open Source Software products including Kubernetes, Hadoop and Accumulo
Supporting a prime program that delivers a wide set of capabilities across the enterprise
Data management and delivery capabilities such as dataflow management, streaming analytic frameworks, a user-driven rules-based data management system, and the development and maintenance of customer systems and tools
High ingest rate cloud-based content and metadata architecture, analytic platforms, and enterprise-wide support of a suite of tools to improve developer and operator experience/productivity
Using methodologies that provide flexibility while reducing time-to-mission of new capabilities
