Requirements
- Knowledge of Risk Management Framework (RMF) controls and pertinence to application security
- Security + Certification/8570 Baseline Requirements
- Vulnerability Management & Reporting – Intermediate
- Application Security and Development Security Requirements (STIG) – Intermediate
- Active TS clearance
- BA or BS degree
Responsibilities
- Identify, analyze, and report on security impacts using commercial off the shelf (COTS) vulnerability scanning, dynamic application security testing (DAST), and static application security testing (SAST) tools.
- Analyze identified vulnerabilities and provide actionable recommendations for remediation.
- Develop and implement strategies to mitigate risks and enhance the security posture of the organization.
- Familiar with DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF) security requirements or comparable industry standards for application development.
- Assist in defining requirements, designing and structuring security components, and testing efforts.
- Work closely with development teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders, including technical and non-technical audiences.
- Management level communication and reporting of metrics
- Independent research to identify Oracle specific application baseline security requirements and allowed deviations per team collaboration efforts.
- Stay updated with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies.
- Continuously improve and update security testing methodologies and tools.
