Requirements

  • Foundational understanding of risk management tools (Material Risk Identification, Risk and Control Self Assessments, Key Risk Indicator Methodology)
  • Good understanding of IT, Cyber Security and Identity Management products, services and technologies, as well as their respective impact on the organization’s risk profile.
  • Ability to translate technical issues into risk terms that businesses can understand
  • Understanding and knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems, processes and emerging technologies for IAM as well as cloud converged infrastructure, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct assessments of IAM processes, tools, and systems to identify risks related to Identity and Access Management (IAM) and evaluate the potential impact of identified risks on business operations and data security.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of IAM policies, procedures, and controls that mitigate identified risks. Ensure IAM practices are aligned with organizational security frameworks, compliance standards, and industry best practices.
  • Monitor IAM activities across the organization to detect and report any potential security incidents, policy violations, or areas of non-compliance. Collaborate with stakeholders to investigate and resolve issues.
  • Provide regular reports and updates to senior management and relevant stakeholders on IAM risks and remediation efforts.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in the financial, consulting or technology industries
  • Relevant certifications such as Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) are preferred.
  • Undergraduate or higher degree in technology preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with integrity
