Requirements
- Ability to multitask under pressure and adapt quickly to change.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and a strong team player.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly in English.
- Fast and accurate typing skills; proficiency with 10-key is required.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to analyze and solve problems, gather data, and prepare reports.
- General math skills required.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve customer concerns, demonstrating proficiency with proprietary operational systems.
- Communicate with new and existing customers by phone to handle service requests, billing inquiries, or product information.
- Assist customers with starting, changing, or discontinuing services via phone.
- Complete contract forms, calculate service charges, collect deposits, and process address changes or service cancellations.
- Provide excellent service to promote customer goodwill.
- Professionally address and resolve customer inquiries and complaints.
- Thrive in a fast-paced, high call volume environment while maintaining strong attention to detail.
- Support sales efforts by promoting additional or upgraded services.
- Prorate customer accounts based on service changes.
- Provide support in other areas as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous call center or waste industry experience is a huge plus!
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- At least 1 year of customer service or call center experience preferred.
