Requirements

  • College education is preferred but not required
  • Produce experience is preferred
  • Must display basic arithmetic skills
  • Have 2 years Data Entry Experience
  • Must be fluent in English
  • Administrative experience is required
  • Excellent communication and organization skills
  • Ability to problem solve and build relationships with customers
  • Proficient in MS Office, specifically Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Must possess excellent customer relations skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to deal with constant change
  • Accuracy with figures and the ability to work efficiently and independently
  • Able to learn new software packages – Prophet & Produce Pro

Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding customer service to every customer, every call
  • Answer incoming calls and emails in an efficient manner and address customer complaints, inquiries and concerns
  • Identify customer needs, upselling and refer any issues to management
  • Keying orders into the system, printing and editing orders
  • Enter data into computer system accurately and efficiently
  • Filing the day’s paperwork numerically
  • Managing inventory and filing systems
  • Assist sales staff with their daily workload & cover for sales staff when they are out of the office or on sales calls
  • Run and update inventory and pricing reports
  • Interface with warehouse, operations, and sales personnel
  • Interface with product purchasing staff as needed to make sure we have availability
  • Assist other departments to ensure the smooth workflow throughout the company
  • Performs other duties as assigned
