Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in SaaS platforms, data operations, data engineering, or related technology leadership roles.
  • Understanding of enterprise data workflows, orchestration tools (e.g., Control-M, Azure Data Factory, Databricks), and operational dependencies is optional.
  • Experience working in Agile environments, including participation in scrum ceremonies and backlog prioritization.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with business leaders, understand their priorities, and translate them into actionable plans.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and collaboration skills, with a focus on building trust and alignment across business and technical teams.
  • Strong verbal and written communication, with the ability to develop high-quality executive presentations and communicate delivery status, risks, and metrics.
  • Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools such as Grafana, Azure Monitor, Datadog, or similar platforms.
  • Experience working in fast-paced, matrixed organizations with dynamic priorities and high visibility.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills with a proactive and analytical mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the SaaS Platform Lead, accountable for the overall stability, reliability, and performance of the platform.
  • Serve as the Operations Point-of-Contact for DataOps Leads—regularly joining scrum calls, capturing key requirements, surfacing challenges, and identifying gaps in delivery.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to elicit, understand, and clearly articulate requirements, priorities, and business impacts.
  • Maintain a catalog of critical jobs and pipelines, including dependencies, SLAs, and escalation protocols.
  • Identify and escalate bottlenecks in delivery and work with cross-functional teams to drive mitigation plans and timeline transparency.
  • Onboard high-impact jobs and workflows into the observability platform to ensure complete visibility and monitoring.
  • Facilitate bi-directional communication between engineering teams and business users—translating complex technical insights into actionable and understandable business updates.
  • Build and maintain executive-level dashboards, presentations, and status updates that summarize platform health, issue resolution progress, and business value delivered.
  • Drive continuous improvement in operational processes, platform self-service capabilities, and monitoring coverage.
  • Proactively lead discussions around platform KPIs, error trends, and delivery performance with key stakeholders.
