Requirements
- Required associate’s degree or equivalent years of experience in related field
- CRT-Radiographer (R) – ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Upon Hire required
- CRT-Computerized Tomography (CT) – ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist 2 Yrs required Or
- CRT-Nuc Med Technologist (N) – ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Upon Hire required Or
- CRT-Nuclear Medicine Technologist – NMTCB Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board Upon Hire required Or
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) – AHA Or ARC 90 Days required
Responsibilities
- Provides healthcare services, applying computed tomography (CT) imaging and all related duties to assist diagnosis or treatment
- Performs CT procedures, computer processing and related techniques, producing images for the interpretation by; or at the request of a licensed practitioner
- Provides appropriate patient care and recognized patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure
- Acts as a role model for comprehensive care, addressing the physiological, and socio-cultural needs of patients and their families
- Acts as a resource to other radiology employees in managing complex issues
- Assures equipment is present and accounted for at the beginning and end of each shift
