Requirements
- Required Associate’s Degree Graduate of Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) Accredited Radiography program.
- CRT-Radiologic Technologist Registration – ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Upon Hire required OR
- CRT-Nuclear Medicine Technologist – NMTCB Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board OR
- CRT-Nuc Med Technologist (N) – ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) – AHA American Heart Association Upon Hire required Or
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) – ARC American Red Cross Upon Hire required
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic CT exams utilizing appropriate imaging equipment under general supervision according to established policies and procedures.
- Demonstrate good clinical skills and provide the best possible images for interpretation while applying ALARA principles of radiation protection.
