Requirements
- Required associate’s degree Graduate of Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) Accredited Radiography program.
- 5 years of relevant clinical experience required
- 3 years of relevant experience modality specific.
- CRT-Computerized Tomography (CT) ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Upon Hire.
- CRT-Radiographer (R) ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Upon Hired
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) – AHA American Heart Association Upon Hire required
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) – ARC American Red Cross Upon Hire required
Responsibilities
- Plans and develops CT modality orientation and training programs and is directly involved in the assessment process.
- Develops new strategies for revenue/research opportunities in the CT modality.
- In collaboration with radiology/cardiovascular management and the education department, facilitates continuous improvement processes and assess modality employee educational needs and requirements.
- Provides appropriate patient care and recognizes patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure when required.
- Provides education for research to physicians and employees in operation of medical equipment and protocols as needed.
- Acts as a liaison to ancillary areas involved or those areas that would benefit in terms of cardiovascular research.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous training and/or education experience preferred.
- Supervisory or lead technologist role experience preferred.
