Requirements

  • At least 15 years of overall IT experience with a minimum of 8 years of experience in designing and operating complex Information Technology systems.
  • At least 5 years Server Operating Systems and Domain Administration experience in a Windows Server or later environment
  • At least 7 years virtualization experience in a VMware environment
  • At least 7 years networking experience in a Cisco environment
  • Basic knowledge or General Idea of CSFC Technologies
  • Astute observer with effective root cause identification and problem-solving skills
  • Familiar with project management approaches, project lifecycles, and tools
  • U.S. Citizen with DoD Secret or greater U.S. Government Security Clearance Required.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with a variety of audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Design, configure, and implement complex network architectures tailored to warfighter operations, integrating CSfC technologies including VPNs, firewalls, switching, routing, and IPv4/IPv6 Dual Stack operations to meet stringent operational and security requirements.
  • Act as the top-tier escalation point for advanced troubleshooting and diagnostics of CSfC solutions, expertly identifying and resolving complex issues tied to network performance, security, and regulatory compliance.
  • Perform detailed root cause analysis to pinpoint the underlying sources of system issues.
  • Conduct system analysis, evaluation, integration, and implementation of complex networking solutions, designing and maintaining highly secure, high-performance network architectures tailored to meet the organization’s specific mission requirements.
  • Deliver expert-level engineering guidance on system specifications, design, integration, testing, and documentation, ensuring compliance with functional, performance, and security requirements, industry best practices, and government regulations for secure data transport.
  • Identify risks, assesses their probability and impact on program budget and schedule, evaluate and recommend new products, solutions, and designs to address evolving customer needs, and authors, manages, and maintains written technical documentation.
  • Offer subject matter expertise and collaborate routinely with Sales, Engineering, Development, and Program Management teams to support CSfC initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications

  • One or more of the following industry recognized accreditations is required: Cisco CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure, Cisco CCIE Service Provider, Cisco CCNP Security
  • One or more of the following industry recognized accreditations is required: Palo Alto Network Security Engineer (PCNSE), VMware Certified Professional (VCP), Aruba Certified Mobility Professional (ACMP), Aruba Certified Mobility Expert (ACMX)
  • One or more of the following industry recognized accreditations is required: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), CompTIA SecurityX (CASP), GIAC Defensible Security Architect (GDSA)
