Requirements
- 2+ years of experience as a Cyber Engineer delivering Risk Management Framework artifacts per DoD 5000 and DoD 8570.1
- Experience with the development of technical specifications, interface control documents, and system architecture, including using digital engineering tools
- Experience with the system engineering life cycle, including requirements, design, development, integration, testing, and deployment for major DoD weapon systems
- Ability to plan systems delivery and deployment efforts, including developing technical plans, schedules, resource allocations, and risk tracking
- Ability to perform multiple systems engineering functions in support of design reviews and requirements verification
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics
Responsibilities
- Execute cybersecurity engineering of a network program backlog of cyber and zero trust features to design, test, verify and deploy an enterprise network at multiple classification levels
- Identify the right mix of tools and techniques to translate client’s IT needs and future goals into a plan that will enable secure and effective solutions
- Investigate new techniques, break free from the legacy model, and go where the industry is going
- Lead the team through a critical approach to network design, providing alternatives and customizing solutions, to maintain a balance of security and mission needs
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Cross Domain Systems and related RTB requirements for CDS
- Experience with system testing, configuration management and installation
- Experience with Aerospace and Defense industry, systems engineering for C2 systems, defense communications systems, or the Defense Information Systems Network (DISN)
- Experience with networking, cloud and data technologies
- Experience performing in Agile environments
- Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
