Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with engineering in Defense Critical Technology sectors, including Kinetic Capabilities such as Hypersonics, Munitions, and Directed Energy, Energy Storage and Batteries, Castings and Forgings, Microelectronics, Critical Chemicals and Minerals, Unmanned Aerial Systems, Rare Earth Elements, Critical Materials, or Space Technologies
- Experience performing technical and business assessments of critical technology manufacturing or production capability development and their potential benefits, costs, technology barriers, policy, and regulatory approval requirements
- Experience working with Defense or U.S. government industry providers and industry members to meet needs in critical technology sectors
- Experience developing and presenting briefings and assessment reports to senior DoD stakeholders
- TS/SCI clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science
Responsibilities
- Design and implement new technologies, systems, and processes to improve plant production and efficiency
- Apply advanced skills or extensive technical expertise
- Develop innovative solutions to complex problems
- Work without considerable direction
- Mentor and may supervise team members
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working for senior DoD officials
- Experience providing technology analysis to DoD programs making investments in DIB capability expansion
- Master’s degree
